JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP By defeating Athletic at the Botanical Reserve last Saturday, Tahuna secured a four point win, the scores being: Tahuna 128, Athletic 98. Chief scorers for Tahuna were G. Thomason 51, and J. McNamara 31. For Athletic: G. Jensoji 40, F. Hockey 27 and E. Grooby 13. Bowling for Tafiuna: P. Coleman took 3 for 20, G. Thomason 2 for 24, G. Coleman 2 for 27, G. Gates 1 for 4 and F. Hobern 1 for 19. Athletic’s best trundlers were S. Merritt 1 for 0, S. Hill 2 for 20, Young 2 for 27, and F. Hockey 1 for 31. Junior Fixtures Old Boys v. Victory, Park 1.
