CONCENTRATION OF CHASER? DECISIVE ACTION IMMINENT (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) BATAVIA, Dili February. The Navy Department in an official statement covering the cruiser Seven Provinces intimates that the Government is determined that the ship bo treated exclusively as a mutinous inan-o-war. The concentration of naval units was completed to-day, so decisive action may he expected to take place to-morrow. The position of the Seven Provinces at 4 a.m., Java time, was latitude 3 degrees 50 minutes south, longitude 100 degrees 44 minutes east, and it was proceeding on a south-easterly course at a speed of 71 knots. HYDROPLANES SENT OUT TO PREVENT ATTACK ON PADANGi (Received 10th February, 11.20 a.m.) BATAVIA. 9tli February. Six bomb-laden hydroplanes went to Padaug to prevent a possible mutineers’ attack. The cruiser, however,, passed Packing without molesting it, and the hydroplanes returned. The fact that they did not bomb the cruiser shows that the Admiralty considered this too dangerous for the imprisoned officers.
