SYDNEY, 9th February.
When the conference on Eastern trade development reassembled the committees submitted resolutions which were adopted. The substance of these was that an advisory committee on Eastern trade be formed in each State, at the instance of the respective Governments, representative of producing shipping, finance, commercial, and manufacturing interests to be limited to ten members and a secretary, each committee to furnish records preiodiealJy to the Federal Department of Commerce. It was also recommended that a trade delegation be despatched to the East at an early date, or alternatively that an oflicial trade representative be appointed by .the Federal Government. The whole question is now in the hands of the Federal Cabinet.
