COMBINED FAIR AT CONEY PARK
BIG NIGHT TO-NIGHT The attractions at the Fair were in full swing last evening and again proved very popular. The Lady Barklv, the paddle’ steamer passenger boat' on the water pond was a huge success and was constantly carrying full loads of passengers round the pond. She did not seem to be overtaxed with as many as 20 passengers aboard. The aeroplanes were also very popular and seem to be in very -good running order again having now fully recovered' from the flood. Many visitors to the illusion side show were very pleased with the performance which is acknowledged by all who have seen it to be the best trick they have, seen; and the supports arc also good. Last evening again tlie circus was a very popular side of the Fair. Amongst the special attractions were the animals, the trapeze acts, with a new item given oil 'a special small trapeze' by Master John Tatton who is only 7 years old. The band was in attendance and gave good support to the various items. It is expected that to-night there will be a particularly large attendance at the Fair and for this, reason every attraction will be equipped to carry the demand. Tlie park looks very well equipped and from the miniature, train when coining hack from the scenic trip along the river one is suddenly confronted ‘with the glamour of the activities and the brilliant lighting. To-morrow afternoon it is planned to have a special matinee at 2.30 to give all the children a chance to see the circus and the fair. This attraction will be put on at specially low prices to meet the oeqasipn and parents should not miss their chance to take the children who have not seen the performance’yet."
