CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

As the result of car plunging over a 30ft bank on the Stonyhurst road, in North Canterbury, Shirley Jean Walker, aged 3/ years, was fatally injured. Mr E~. C. Walker and his wife and four children were en route to Happy Valley to spend the week-end when the accident occurred. Mr Walker suffered a fractured shoulder, and Mrs Walker and tlie other three children cuts and bruises.
