Reporting ,to the Rugby League council, the joint managers of the Australian and New Zealand tour recommended'that the rules revision committee consider the whole matter cf the interpretation of the rules, as a wide divergence of opinion regarding the rules wan one disappointment of the tour. The report was adopted The council decided that the first match of the Australian tour of England be played on the last Saturday in August, and the last, on New Year’s Day. Tests will be played on the 7th October, 11th November, and 16th December. No matches will be played a week prior to the tests.
