Caulfield Cup candidates, Admiral Drake, Lancegay and Talkie competed in tlie Beaconsfield Handicap at Moonee Valley to-day and all were disappointing. Admiral Drake was a bad last. E. Badger, who had been engaged to ride Lancegay in the Cup, had a fall with Graewin to-day, and is not likely to ride on Saturday. AMMON RA RETURNING SYDNEY, 12th October. Ammon Ra lias been turned into the bleeder. He is returning to Sydney and will be sent Home to New Zealand, where it is hoped that he will recover. Gold Mag lias been sold to Mr A. Blair, owner of Chatham. ENGLISH RACING THE CESAREWITCH STAKES (Received 13th October, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, j2th October. THE CESAREWITCH STAKES resulted : Nitsichin 1 Chelmarsh 2 Sandwich 3 Twenty-six started. Won by three lengths, two lengths between second and third horses.
