Elbert Lewis (Los Angeles) defeated Coen 6-4, 6-4; Cuifford Sutter (New Orleans) dedeated Olliff 6-3, 2-6, 6-2. GERMAN CHAMPIONSHIPS (Received 13th August, 9.55 a.m.) - HAMBURG, 12th August. In the semi-final of the German tennis championships, Menzel defeated Crawford 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. The Australians Hopman, Sproule, and Clemenger were eliminated in the earlier rounds.
