CASE AGAINST J. R. McKENZIE LTD. (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, This Day. Judgment for plaintiff was given by Mr McNeil, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court last evening in a claim for a week’s wages in lieu of notice for alleged wrongful dismissal, brought by Thelma Jean Adams, saleswoman, against J. R. McKenzie, Ltd. Miss Adams was dismissed by the firm last March, as a result of the activities of a Mr Mycr, the representative of an Australian firm of “Internal Auditors,” and staff investigators, who had been engaged by McKenzie’s Ltd. to report on the members of their various staffs.
