ON A . SHILLING’S WORTH OF OIL (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 12th July, 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, 11th July. Only a shilling’s worth of oil was consumed by a Diesel electric motor, train hauling a coach with 40 passengers from London to Hertford, a distance of 27 miles. The train touched a speed of over 50 miles an hour.
