CUSTOMS DUTIES During the month of June Customs duties collected at Port Nelson amounted to £OS2 lGs 7d, compared with £3fiß7 15s 8d for the corresponding month of last year. For the quarter ended 30th June the amount received was £5595 19s 2d against £8874 0s 5d for the similar period of 1931. The excise beer duty collected amounted to £782 0s 9cl compared with £B7O 9s Od for June 1931; while the figures for the quarter were £2051 8s 8d compared with £2395 17s 3d. The petrol tax collected for the past quarter was £2572 15s Od against £2719 17s Od last year. The tire tax for the quarter brought in £l3O ,8s Od against £372 0s Od.
