ANOTHER BLAZE AT TOLAGA BAY

HOTEL DESTROYED BOARDERS’ HURRIED EXIT (By Telegraph—Press Association) GISBORNE, This Day. Tolaga Bay had another blaze at midnight, fire destroying an hotel of 35 rooms owned by the Watkins Estate, Auckland, and occupied by J. P. Hoar as licensee. The building was in process of renovation. Fire was discovered in an interior partition and had a strong hold. Fourteen boarders, including an insurance adjuster who had arrived to estimate the damage in the previous day’s fire, made a hurried exit,. some escaping only in their night attire. The building was.insured with a Home company, and ths'furniture and stock with the South British Office.
