Gaston Means was sentenced to 15 yeai-s’ imprisonment for the larceny of 104,000 dollars from Mrs McLean in connection with the ransom for the Lindbergh baby. [Mrs Edward McLean, a Washington society woman, alleged that she gave Means, a former Department of Justice .'•.gent, and an ex-convict, 100,000 dollars lo negotiate for the return of Colonel Lindbergh’s baby, whereas Means failed to produce the baby or return the money.
