EXCELLENT ENTERTAINMENT
IN AID OF PLUNKET SOCIETY Quite apart from the worthy object for which the entertainment in the Majestic Theatre is being given, next Tuesday evening the public are assured that the quality of the programme is such, that patrons will receive good value in return for thp small cost of admission. In addition to several concert items by such well known performers as Misses Alwyn Austin, Jacobs, and Creighton and Messrs Huggins, Bradshaw and Saxton two one act plays will be presented. “’Op ’o me thumb,” and “Mr Sampson” are two excellent comedies, which were recently played with great success at the New Theatre and St-. Janies’ Theatre, London. The plays are being interpreted by some more well-known local amateurs including Mesdames Kirk, Moynilian; Misses Nevin, Aydon; and Messrs Ivingsford and Wotton. Another strong addition is Mrs P. R. Parker who lias had considerable experience on the amateur stage in Dunedin. Mrs Parker and Miss Nevin are the joint producers and an evening of excellent entertainment is assured. Tlie booking of seats is advised —it costs no more—at the Majestic Confectionery.
