“MORE JOBS" CAMPAIGN
A SYDNEY MOVEMENT (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 16th June. 8.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Lord Mayor lias convened a conference of the Employers’ Federation, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Manufacturers, and retail traders, to initiate a. “more jobs” campaign, the conditions for which, lie is of opinion, are psychologically right. The objective is to induce every employer to increase his staff and every householder to give odd jobs, and thus get men and women off tiie dole.
