MURDER OF YOUNG COUPLE
MOXLEY ON TRIAL (United Press Association —By Electric Tslegraph—Copyright) SYDNEY, 15th June. The trial is proceeding in the Criminal Court of William Moxley, charged with murdering the young couple Wilkinson and Denzel. Moxley in a long and emotional statement declaring his innocence, said lie had no occasion to kill anyone, as he was not in need of money, but since he was shot in the head he had been a changed man and not responsible for bis action on the night- of tlie tragedy, “I knew nothing aboutshooting these young people, and I don’t think anybody does,” lie declared. The hearing was adjourned.
