HIGH TAXATION

DROP IN REVENUE EXPERIENCE IN GERMANY BALANCING BY ECONOMIES [United Press Association —By Eleetrio Telegraph—Copyright) BERLIN, 14th Juno. A decree enables the balancing of the 1932 Budget at £410,000,000, including £68,000,000 of State insurance expenditure. The Government explains .that the decree is necessary to save the insurance system from collapse. Economies will be imposed, because the experiences of the past month have shown that increase in taxation merely leads to a drop in revenue, therefore they have no intention of imposing further taxation in future. The Government intends co-operating with other powers in an effort to reach a solution of the world’s economic crisis and will endeavour to review home markets by establishing small holdings and introducing a voluntary labour service.
