Crawford beat Blake 6 0, 6-0; llopinan beat W. A. It. Collins 6-0, 6-2; Clenicnger beat Lysaght 9-7, 6-1; Sproule beat Jacobsen 8-6, 6-3. In tho women’s first round, Mrs Crawford beat Miss Cook 6-1, b-1. In the second round Mrs Crawford beat Mrs Co veil 0-6, 6-0, 9^7. In the men’s doubles first round, Crawford and llopinan defeated Colonel llelme and Drake 6-1, 6-0. WIMBLEDON MATCHES LONDON, 15th June. At Wimbledon, seeded players are: — Singles—Cochet v. Vines, ' Shields v. l’erry, Wood v. Austin, Borotra v. Crawford. In the doubles, Allison and Van Ryn
meet Crawford and Hopman; Perry and Hughes meet Borotra and Brugnon. In the mixed doubles, Vines and Airs Wills-Aloody meet Cochet and Alls Whittingstall; Brugnon and Alme. Alathieu meet Alaier and Aliss Ryan; Allison and Aliss Jacobs meet Hopman and Aldlle. Sigart; Spence and Aliss Nutliull meet Mangiu and Airs Paltry.
