“CARNIVAL,” MAJESTIC, TO-NIGHT “Carnival,” described as a rare film of beauty, movement, music and power, will he screened at the Majestic- Theatre to-night. Most of the superbly lavish scenes are set to music—music that is nob deliberate hut a subtle accompaniment to the rapid action of the production. A The acting is superb; Matlieson Lang, Dorothy Bouchier and Joseph Schildkraut, whose romantic lover Lang needs no eulogy; his powerful acting is too well known even though most of his performances have been confined to tho English stage. Neither does Joseph Schildraut, whoso romantic, lover roles have endeared him to many faminine hearts, but Miss Dorothy Bouchier merits special mention. Her acting, poise and general appearance are excellent. It is a, changed part for her, and the change has given us a more beautiful, glamorous and “warmer” actress. The technique of “Carnival” leaves nothing to be desired. The pleasing result i-5 a tremendously powerful drama with life in rhythm.
