THE KENT TRAGEDY A SOLDIER CHARGED (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright* LONDON, 14th June. The police arrested James Collins, a private of the second battalion of Buffs stationed at Shorucliffe, and charged him with the murder of Mrs Janie Swift, of Ye Old Sportsman’s Inn, Seasalter, near Whitstable, her daughter, Mrs Jennie Trenayne Stemp, of White Hart Inn, VVadhurst, Sussex, and Peggy, aged 13 years, daughter of Mrs Stemp, who were found dead at King’s Wood, near Challock, Kent.
