PEOPLE’S DAY In order that the general public- may be able to obtain a more intimate knowledge of the work which the Cawthron Institute is carrying out it. has been decided to throw open tlie Institute on Friday and Saturday afternoon, June 24th and 25th from 2 to 5 and on the Friday evening from 7-30 to 9.30. In addition to the Museum which is open every afternoon during tlie week, exhibitions of tlie work in progress will be explained by members of tlie Cawthron staff. On Friday, 24th the farmers and fruitgrowers of the district are specially invited. Saturday afternoon should give an opportunity to many Nelson residents who are unable to visit the Institute during tlie week.
