Bit; DROP IN IMPORTS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 14th June, 9.10 a.in.) LONDON, 13th June. Board of Trade returns are: Imports decreased £13,893,000, exports £3,690,000; re-exports £1,348,000. The principal decreases in imports were: Meat £1,574,000; other food and drink. £2,987,000; oil seeds £736,000; iron ami steel and manufactures thereof £876,000; non-ferrous metals £864,000: cotton yarns and manufactures .£561,000; woollen yarns and manufactures, £869,000; apparel £1,027,000; leather £582,000. The principal decrease in exports was vehicles £2,559,000. Increases in imports were: Grain and Hour £951,000; raw cotton £481,000. In exports: Cotton yarns and manufactures £947,000. RUGBY, Kith .Tune. Returns of overseas trade in May show that the value of imports was £55,785,.‘i11, compared with £53,487,187 in the previous month, and £09,028,484 in May last year. Exports during the month were valued at £84,595,524, against £89,423,098 in Die previous month, and £39,042,284. in May last year. The value of manufactured articles exported declined by £3,593,844, as compared with May 1931. D'his figure included a drop of £3,209,087 in the value of exports of vehicles, including locomotives, ships, machinery, iron and steel manufactures.
