DISARMAMENT CONFERENCE

LULL IN PROCEEDINGS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 2nd May. Sir John Simon returned to London this afternoon from Geneva.. The temporary lull in the more important proceedings of the Disarmament Conference is likely to continue for about a iortnight. The Prime Minister expects to resume his duties as head of the British delegation about the middle of the present month, and it was stated at Geneva to-day that Dr. Bruening will return there on or about the 17th, when ,it is anticipated that the conversations will be continued.
