LARGE U.S. UTILITIES COMPANY (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) CHICAGO, 14tli April. The Middle West Utilities Company, a 2,500,000,000 dollars holding company organised by Mr Samuel Insul, utilities magnate, has filed a bill of receivership in the Federal District Court. It is the largest corporation to go to receivership in the history of the United States, the company was organised several years ago ; when the stocks of various interlocking ! companies were at peak prices. The subsequent depression of securities made the payment of obligations impossible.
