SALVATION ARMY’S GROWTH

A remarkable story of achievement is told in the Salvation Army’s Year Book for 1932. People who feared that the death of General Booth, the founder, in 1912 marked the decline of its growth and influence will note the allround advance now chronicled. In 1912 the number of countries and colonies in which the Salvation Army worked was 58. It is now 83. Salvationists are preaching the Gospel in 74 different languages. In 1912 the number was less than half that ligure. Officers and Cadets have increased from 15,05 Sto 25,903.
