ASTOUNDING SUICIDE
DETERMINATION TO, DIE LONDON, 6th April. An astounding determination to commit suicide was revealed at the inquest on Henry Hushes Onslow, Master of the Supremo Court and Chief Taxing Master. He lmd broil found dying in the bathroom in two inches of water which had overflowed from (lie bath. Onslow, who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, indigestion, heart trouble, and also insomnia due to overwork, jumped from a. window of his flat at 2 o’clock ;n the morning, and, falling three storeys through a skylight, lay unconscious for several hours. A trail of blood showed that when he recovered lie dragged himself uj> three (lights of stairs to his flat, and reached the window, apparently with the intention of again jumping out, but instead lie turned on the bathwater, inflicted cuts on his body with a razor and collapsed. He died from shock and hemorrhage. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned
