I keep down the cost or LIVING BRIDGE ST. a TAHUNANUI FRUIT EXPORTERS CLOSING DATE JONATHANS THE Department of Agriculture lias approved of an extension of tlie closing date of Jonathans of the sizes going under the C. and D. Stickers only, until WEDNESDAY, 6th April. This extension is subject to the Fruit not being overmature for Export. PROVINCIAL SHOWS The Fruit Board requires 800 cases of a high standard of Extra Fancy Jonathans, sizes 180-198, for the above Shows. The Fruit will have to be double wrapped and the Board will make an additional payment to Growers supplying to the order. Any Grower who can supply 20 cases or more should apply to the undersigned immediately for further particulars. y . J. 11. BRUNT, Shipping Supervisor. * FRUIT EXPORTERS “STURMEIIS” AND “STATESMAN” OWING to a shortage of shipping and storage space, the Fruit Board finds it necessary to delay the acceptance of “STURMER” and “STATESMAN” for Export until 11th APRIL. This action is necessary to ensure the immediate shipment of a particularly heavy supply of mid-season varieties. Adequate shipping space is available after 11th April to meet growers’ estimated requirements for the later varieties. “.STATESMAN” and “STURMER” now picked and packed for Export will be received until 11 a.m. SATURDAY, 2nd April.
