The following were the concluding results on the second day of the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting:— Hals well Handicap, of 250 sovs; 4.35 class; two miles.—3 Gold Country, 24 yds blul, 1; 4 Anon, 12 yds blul, 2; 1 Brentlight, ser, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, 4.20 1-5. Welcome Handicap, of 200 sovs; for three-year-olds; 2.59 class; one mile and a quarter.—3 Lord Leslie, scr, 1; 2 Eureka Boy, 12 yds bhd, 2; 1 Wrecker, 24 yds bhd, 3. All started. Won by three iengths. Time, 2.48 2-5. April Handicap, of 250 sovs; 4.40 class; two miles. —2 Mountain Ore, scr, 1; 4 Huon Voyage, 48 yds bhd, 2; I Gold Tinge, 12 yds bhd, 3. All started. Won by three lengths. Time, 4.25 2-5. Summer Handicap, of 300 sovs; unhojipled trotters; 3.27 class; one mile and a half. —4 White Satin, scr, 1; 10 Wrackler, 48 yds bhd, 2; 7 Cannonball, 24 yds bhd, 3. Scratched: Huon Voyage. Won by a length. Time, 3.25. High Class Handicap, of 250 sovs; 2.43 class; one mile and a quarter.— 2 Red Shadow, scr, 1; 8 Carmel, 24 yds Mid, 2; '(> King Pointer, 12 yds bhd, 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, 2.45 3-5: ' - f Investments on the totalisator amounted to £22,220, as compared with £30,466 for the .second, day last year; making a total for tjie meeting of £46,730, as against £61,926 10s last year.

The following were the concluding results on the first day of the Westland Racing Club’s meeting:— Autumn Handicap, of 120 sovs; one mile and a quarter.—l Ravine, 9.3, 1; 4 Eaton Hall, 7.1, 2; 2 Gold Bag, 7.4, 3. Also started: Dainty Ways, Royal Game, Polthea. The latter stopped, at the post. Won by two lengths, a neck. Time, 2.11 4-5.

RANDWICK RACES NIGHTMARCH’S WINNING WAY . AMMON 11A DISAPPOINTS (United Press Association—By Electric 'Telegraph—Copyright) , SYDNEY, 30th March. The Australian Jockey Club’s Autumn Meeting was continued at. ltandwick today m ideal racing conditions. The attendance was 20,000. Prismatic, the Hurdles winner, established a course record. Ammon Ra provided the sensation of the day. He was warmly supported in the All-Aged Stakes, but was unable to run into a place. The New Zealander appeared tired, the horse racing without dash. Nighlmarch continued his winning way. Running prominently throughout in tile Cumberland Stakes, lie lasted long enough to stall off the fast-finishing Veilmond. Results were as follows: — Maiden Hurdles—Prismatic, 9.6 (Cutler), 1; Rconui, 10.0 (Scarlet), 2; Kongo, 9.7 (Fielder), 3. Eleven started. Ray Acre led early but fell at the half-mile. Prismatic then took charge and won with case by fifteen lengths. Time, 3.37. All-Aged Stakes, one mile—Viol d’Amour, 8.6 (Badger), 1; Waterline, 8.12 (Pike), 2; Winooka, 8.6 (Britt), 3. Nine started. Winooka was first to show out from Greenline, Ammon Ra, Chatham and Parkwoed. Viol d’Amour took Lite lead at the half distance and won narrowly from the fast-finishing Waterline. Ammon Ra was fourth. Won by a neck. Time, 1.38.

Mya-i-in was the early pacemaker from Spoon, Intrepid, Love Song, and Aorangi. The last-named cleared out at the distance, j but had to withstand a desperate dial-, lenge from Love Song. Won by a luad. Time. 1.52£. Champagne Stakes —Kuvera, 9.1 (Me- j Garten), 1; Closing Time, 8.5 (Duncan),' 2; Vaunt ry, 9.1 (Pike), 3. Nine started. Kuvera and Vauntry led into the straight from Never Despair and Closing Time. Kuvera came away to win with case by . two lengths. Time, 1.114. ' Cumberland Stakes—Nightmare!), 9.3 (R.
