NEW STATE INDUSTRY
SOVIET RABBIT CULTURE LONDON, Bth October. Renewed elforls are being made by the Soviet to create a State rabbit industry at Kazan,,says the Riga correspondent of ‘‘The Tillies.” A new State farm has been stocked with imported pedigreed rabbits. The farm is adopting new methods of “Socialist rabbit culture.” It is hoped to secure from 1933 an annual supply of ‘‘700.000 kilogrammes of the most nutritious meat anil 200,000 of the most precious skins.” The Kazan farm is intended to serve as a nursery for developing rabbit farming by the peasants throughout Russia.
