Hill 96 (2), 98; L. Gore 95 (3' 98; N. Jones 92 (4), 96; J. Johnson 91 (7), 98. REMARKABLE SHOOTING In a challenge match for the “A” feathers between W. Frecth (holder) and W. Murtyn some remarkable shooting was done. Before a. decision was readied in favour of the holder, live ties were, made, and in the sixth round Freetli won by the narrowest margin. In all he made five possibles (70), and one 69, dropping only one point in 420. Martyn obtained four possibles and a 69 and a 68. There was a good deal of excitement on the range while the shoot was in progress.
