W ATMEA ELECTRIC ROWER BOARD LOAN PROPOSAL liUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of tlie provisions of The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and the Acts amending the same respectively, and with the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board, the Waimea Electric Power Board proposes to raise a Special Loan as under:— 1. The particular purpose for which the Loan is required is for the purchase of the Waimea Electric Supply and Manufacturing Company’s undertaking and carrying out the necessary work in connection therewith. 2. The Sum proposed to he borrowed for such purpose is Thirty thousand pounds sterling (£30,000). 3. The proposed security for the said Loan is an annually recurring rale of 23 45th.s of Id in the £on the Capital Value of the whole of the rateable property within the area of Supply of the Waimea Electric Supply and Manufacturing Company for a ' term of 20 years. A Sinking Fund will be provided out of the said rate for the repayment of the Loan at the expiration of the term. It is proposed to pay out of the Loan the cost of raising the.
