GOLD REEF FOUND

Tho party was later successful in driving and locating the reef, which is about 4ft wide, and in a short distance it showed every sign of jimetioiiiiig with the old Fluke reef, which yielded a good return when, worked over thirty years ago. The present stone is carrying excellent values all along.

A syndicate Was formed in Thames on Wednesday, and an offer was made to the Maoris of either a sale or the provision of capital, hut the Maoris decided to continue until they had proved the values.
