FUNERAL OF THE LATE DR. BARR
The funeral of tho late Dr. V. IT. Barr look place this morning, the chief mourners being Mrs Barr, Mr and Mrs D. R. Edwards, and Mr and Mi’s G. llol>£. The pall-bearers were I)rs. Gibbs, Jamieson, Low, Hudson, Johnston and Jeffries. A large number of old friends also paid their last mark of respect to the memory of the deceased. The Very Rev. the Dean of Nelson (Rev. F. Askew) conducted the burial service, the first portion of which was held at the residence of the late Dr. Barr.
