MANACEMENT COMMITTEE

MEETING

A meeting of the Management Committee of the Nelson Wrostling Association was held last evening. . There were present: Messrs C. T. Webley (chairman), G. Newman, G. Hay, J. Walter, W. L. McCracken, T. W. Potts, R. A. Thomas, R. W. Martin and W, Vaughan (secretary). Correspondence was read from the New Zealand Union regarding remits forwarded by the Nelson Association stating that the referee had full power to deal with wrestlers if they committed any breach of the rules. A letter was also read from Mr J. H. Thompson, representative of the Nelson Association, stating that he was endeavouring to assure a first-class match for Nelson in about a fortnight, and would forward the names of the contestants shortly.
