SIX'A=SIDE TOURNAMENT WON BY HOSPITAL Tjie Association six-aside tournament played at Viotory Square yesterday, resulted in Hospital defeating Thistle in the final bv 2 goals to nil. In the first round Thistle beat Athletic fiy 1 goal to nil; and Hospital disposed of Y.M.C.A. by 6 goals to nil. A good even game in the final resulted. The teams Thistle: Smith, Friend, Devereux, Black. Campbell, Knight. Hospital: W. Dickenson, Coxhill, Hasler, Varley, Hurst, Elhvood. Tliistle kicked off against the wind, but Hospital were soon on the attack, Smith bringing off some very fine saves Coxhill broke away and dribbling right through gave Smith no chance. Hospital 1, Thistle 0. Half-time sounded with no addition to the score. Hospital kicked off in the second spell and Thistle made repeated attacks which Dickenson cleared well. Thistle got well away and Knight missed when well placed. Hospital then attacked, Hurst placing nicely to Elhvood, who netted. Hospital 2, Thistle 0. Play travelled up and down field very fast, but no further scores were recorded. ’The final whistle sounded with Hospital the winners by 2 goals to nil. Mr Grant refereed.
