POST AND GATTY AT BERLIN

LONDON, 25th June.
The airmen Post and Gutty were clamorously welcomed at Berlin. They leave for Moscow to-morrow. Gatty is a Tasmanian and was formerly' with the, Union Steamship Company. The aviators Post and Gatty departed for Moscow.

| TRANSATLANTIC FLIERS
(Received 26th June, 9.35 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, 25th June. Tlie absence of news of the transAtlantic fliers Hillig and Hoiriis is causing anxiety. The airmen should have landed this morning, hut they have not been reported after leaving Newfoundland.

The Atlantic fliers made a forced landing at Krefeld. They immediately took oil for Copenhagen. They stated that they lost the way flying across Spain and France. Bad weather forced the airmen to fly' for thirteen hours 12,000 feet above* the clonds. They descended in tlie morning and flew close to tlie sea until they sighted the coast of Spain. They crossed the German frontier late in the afternoon. During 32 hours’ flying they averaged U2J miles per hour.
