DISPUTE AT JERUSALEM RESULT OF ADJUDICATION LONDON, lllh June. Clear definitions of the rights of Jews and Moslems in the vicinity of the historic "Wailing Wall” are contained ill the derisions of the committee, which was appointed by the British Government to adjudicate on the rival claims to the wall.
Jews will not he permitted (o Wow the ram s horn near the Wailing Wall, or otherwise avoidably to disturb the Moslems, while the Moslems will not hn allowed to curry out the Zikr ceremony close to the pavement adjoining the wall during Jewish devotions. The committee has decided that the Wailing Wall and the pavement are both the property of the .Moslems., bin, Jews must l|e given free access lor (-ovotional purposes, subject to certain stipulations. These include a provision that the Jews must not use appurtenances of worship, except the Ark containing scrolls of law, and the tables carrying them.
