WILKINS’S EXPEDITION NEW LONDON (U.S.), sth June. Anthony Fokkcr, the Dutch aeroplane designer, after a trip aboard tin submarine Nautilus, in whicli Sir Hubert Wilkins will make his polar expedition, announced that he was one of tlie backers of tlio expedition. Ho said lie had enjoyed the trip as one of tlie most interesting in his life, and he was confident of the complete success of tlie expedition. The submarine, said Fokker, showed good manoeuvring ability, and there could lie no doubt of its ultimate triumph.
