WRECKED ’PLANE DISCOVERED

MELBOURNE, 18th June.

The Civil Aviation Department received a report that a wrecked airplane, believed to be the property of Ekins, the missing aviator, was discovered by an Italian in rugged, heavily timbered country near Tallarook, 00 miles north of 'Melbourne, but there was no sign of the pilot. Searchers have gone to the scene.
