20,000 TON MOTOR SHIP

(Received 18th June. 9.10 a.m.) HAMILTON (Ontario), 17th June. The motor ship Bermuda, of 20,000 tons, operated by the Furness Bermuda lino between hero and sank at the pier to-day. The bridge structure is burned away and the stern is resting on the bottom. Fire broke out in the elevator shaft, necessitating the flooding of tho stern tanks. Four men were badly burned, but there was no loss of life. There were no passengers aboard.
