FLOODS IN GISBORNE DISTRICT
GOVERNOR-GENF4IAL’S PARTY HELD UP
(By Telegraph—Press Association) GISBORNE. This Day. All service cars on the northern road are held up by flooded streams. This morning the Governor-General's party, who spent the night at Motu, were unable to reach Gisborne by road. Arrangements are being made to send a special train to Motuiiora to bring them in.
