NELSON POULTRY ASSOCIATION

SHOW MATTERS At a general meeting of members of the Nelson Poultry Association, presided over by Mr J. Liddle, several matters in connection with the show which is to be held in July were dealt with. It was decided to apply to the Minister of Internal Affairs for a permit to run an art union for gold nuggets. The first of a series of demonstrations was held, the variety chosen being Old English Game bantam (male). After several well-known game breeders had .score carded the birds a very interesting discussion took place regarding the different points most of the members present taking part. It has been arranged to hold a series of these demonstrations, the next to be on utility white leghorns. Any others interested in the breed will be welcomed.
