At Alexandria while hundreds were admiring her pictures at the present exhibition at Cairo, the New Zealand artist Mrs Leslie Greener, nee Haszard, whose picture “Isle of Brechou” was recently purchased for the Dunedin gallery," accidentally fell from a third floor window at Victoria College, where her husband, also an artist, is a master. She will be buried at sea according to her own wishes. (By Telegraph—Press Association) WANGANUI, This Day. Tlie deceased lady was a daughter of Mr ami the late Mrs H. D. Haszard, of Waihi, and a sister of Mr 11. V. M. Haszard, engineer of the Wanganui Harbour Board. She was educated at Invercargill and Christchurch. She married Mr Leslie Greener, an ex-Eng-lish army officer of India. Both began studies at the Christchurch School of Art. They went abroad six years ago, and Mrs Greener accepted in 1927 the post of art instructor at Victoria College, Cairo.
