PRINCES’ TOUR
WARM WELCOME IN BOLIVIA 'United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyrignt,) LA PAZ (Bolivia), 19th February. The British Princes arrived here this afternoon Prince George was slightly affected by the altitude in his travels to this mountain city, but the Prince of Wales stood the journey well. _ , Local newspapers dedicated an extra edition, partly in English, to the Princes, publishing long articles on Britain’s relations with Bolivia and greeting the Princes warmly. After arrival at the Palace the Princes were decorated with the Grand Order of Condor of the Andes.
Acclaiming shouts resounded through the streets where thousands gathered to watch the arrival of tho visitors.
JOURNEY ACROSS ANDES
(Received 21st February, 10.35 a.m.) LA PAZ, 20th February. The Prince of Wales and Prince George to-day loft on a journey across the Andes to Antofagasta, Chile.
