BIGAMY CHARGE

WELLINGTON. 18th February.
Zoe McCnk-liooii Paid was committed for sentence 10-day on a charge of bigamy, lo which she pleaded guilty. It was staled that she lived wifli her husband I ill Hie end of last November, and then following a quarrel went off with a man named Fisher, whom she had biganionsly married. Her husband, in evidence, said lie had taken his wife back and they were now living together. 11 is wife was advised lo notify the police and to his knowledge did so. Evidence that accused was of good character was given.
