DISCOVERY OF MISSING WILL
DISAPPOINTED HEIRS REJOICE The discovery of a lost will during an auction sale of furniture in Paris provided two disappointed heirs with a fortune approaching £17,000. The owner of the furniture had died apparently intestate, and the couple, who believed themselves to be his heirs, although deprived of the estate, decided to attend the sale. While bidding for an old desk was in progress the auctioneer’s assistant opened a drawer, a.ncP found an old yellow paper. The auctioneer read the contents aloud, and the two heirs learned that the document was a will bequeathing them the fortune. Their joy was such that they forgot to reward tho discoverer of their good fortune.
