MASKED BURGLARS

SUSPECTS ARRESTED (By Telegraph—Presa Association) AUCKLAND, 2nd February. Early on the morning of Sunday, 25th January, three masked men entered the home of Sidney Taylor at 14, Wellington street, and after consuming food in tho kitchen, entered Mr Taylor’s bedroom, where he and his wife were asleep. One man stood over each of them, armed with sticks, while the third searched the room for money. Mr Taylor awoke, and was then struck with the butt of a stockwhip. After stealing 10s and more food, the trio escaped. Three suspects have now been arrested, and will appear shortly in Court.
