CONTRACT FOR WHALERS
LET TO BRITISH FIRM

DUNEDIN, This Day. The contract for building a mother ship and whale chasers for the Dunedin Promotion Company has been let to a British firm for de'livery in September next. The mother ship will be 18,300 tons, and slightly larger than the Sir James Clark Ross.
