Toe H world chain of lights, commemorating the fifteenth anniversary of its birthday, was inaugurated at Talbot House at Poperinghe, where the chapel in the upper . room is now restored to wartime condition. Forty-five ex-soldiers who were among the originators of Toe H went to Poperingho yesterday morning and visited Menin Gate, where Padre Clayton at 9 o'clock last night lighted the symbolic lamp. Simultaneously a thanksgiving service was held at St. Paul's, where amidst silence the lamp was lighted, after which links travelled westward and lamps were lighted at the same hours until a circuit of the globo was completed. A mass meeting will bo held at Albert Hall at 9 o'clock to-night, when Padre Clayton's message signalling completion will be broadcast to the world.

LONDON. 7th December. Lord Stonehaven represented Australia, and the German, and American. Ambassadors were • present at a gathering of 7000 at Albert Hall in celebration of the Toe H, festival to mark the completion of a world. chain of lights started at Talbot House, Popeiingho, on sth December. Those who returned from the ceremony received a deafening welcome. Padre Clayton read greetings from the Prince of Wales. He traced the trail blazed by lights via Ireland, West Indies, both Americas, Australia,' China, India and South Africa.
Thereafter 50 unlit lamps, headed by the Prince's perpetually burning light were borne in a procession lit from the Prince's lamp. Then all other illumination was quenched, leaving the 50 lamps burning in the centre of the hall,, while the whole gathering echoed Padre Clayton's quotation of Bunyans lines, ending "We will remember them." After this a minute's silence was observed.
Similar gatherings were held at Nottingham, Gloucester, Newcastle, Cardiff, and Belfast.
