LOST TRIBE

Miss Crossley Batts who recently arrived in England from India, says that a few years ago she found an old manuscript in a Buddhist library in Pekin, about a lost tribe 13,000 feet up tho Himalayas. She resolved to find the tribe and repeatedly failed, but she at last succeeded. They are survivors of the ancient Chaldeans, and have an average span of life of 140 to 150 years. They number 600. "I did not see a sign of disease or debility. They must possess strange secrets valuable to the western world. Their language is unintelligible. I have since discovered that it is Chaldean, which I have learnt. lam returning to stay longer and try to discover their secrets."
